About this experience
Six days gives the forest time to sink in. You'll move between several camp sites, follow ridges and rivers most travellers never reach, and spend full days walking in primary rainforest. With this much time out, sightings of wild orangutans, siamangs and hornbills become routine, and the smaller creatures (tarsiers, frogs, bright insects) start to matter as much as the big ones. On the final day, ride the Jungle Taxi (river tubing) back to Bukit Lawang. Everything but your day pack is carried by your porter.
